Sernancelhe students work with fabrics using the spiral constructions

Image
This month the classes were directed to the geometric construction of spirals. The students learned to construct the spirals geometrically an applied this knowledge in a creative work (drawing). Then they passed that design onto a styrofoam board. It was intended to make a patchwork job. So the students brought several fabrics and began to apply these fabrics on the previously cut Styrofoam board in the place where the drawing was. The results were wonderful for a first try. Sernancelhe students made the letter C with leftover coffee pods. They took a picture of two elements and in a digital imaging program they repeated these elements until they made the letter. Finally, they applied a shadow effect. Teacher: Ana Paula Dias

Sernancelhe's students working with plastic

Sernancelhe's students were working on the theme of pontilism, since pontilism is part of the Visual Education curriculum. As we had to work with plastic, two ideas emerged to be worked on. One would be with bubble wrap and the other was to work with black plastic beads. Here are the works developed by them. Teacher: Ana Paula Dias
